Akar Ayakkabı (Corrente) — Men's Leather Shoes

Akar Ayakkabı, the company behind the Corrente label, was established in Istanbul in 2004 to make leather footwear for men. From the outset its goal has been to bring classic leather shoes, crafted from high-grade raw materials, to international buyers at sensible prices.

Backed by an in-house research and development team, Akar widened its customer base quickly by tailoring models and designs to different countries and markets. The factory operates from the Ikitelli industrial zone in Basaksehir.
