Elin was founded in 1981, beginning with research aimed at developing products suited to the clean and renewable energy market. It counts among the earliest Turkish manufacturers in this field.

From a 40,000 square-metre facility in Ankara, the company produces advanced photovoltaic panels that generate power from sunlight, and offers end-to-end services spanning engineering, procurement, construction, operation and routine maintenance of renewable energy systems.
