İzmir Demir Çelik (İzdemir) — Rebar & Steel Bars

İzmir Demir Çelik, known as İzdemir, was founded in 1975 in İzmir on a 500,000 m² site and has built up close to half a century of experience in iron and steel production.

Its rolling facilities came online in 1983 and the steel plant followed in 1987. Today the mill turns out construction-grade reinforcing bar and steel bars, with annual capacity reaching roughly 1.5 million tonnes of steel and 1 million tonnes of rebar. The company ranks 37th among Turkey's 500 largest industrial enterprises.
