OMEGA61 — Farmed Sea Bass & Salmon

Founded in 2010 in Trabzon on Turkey's Black Sea coast, OMEGA61 entered aquaculture with an initial output of 950 tonnes per year, specialising in farmed sea bass and salmon supplied fresh, frozen or as fillets.

The company expanded quickly, adding a second facility in 2011, a third in 2015 and a fourth in 2017 around Trabzon, plus a further plant in nearby Gümüşhane. Together these sites lifted annual capacity to 5,000 tonnes. Exports reach Japan, Vietnam and the United States.
