Türk Ekonomi Bankası (TEB) was founded in 1927 and has spent nearly a century providing leading banking services and financial solutions to corporate and individual customers.

On 10 February 2005 TEB signed a strategic partnership agreement with BNP Paribas — the world's seventh-largest bank by assets under management and the largest bank in the Eurozone, operating in 74 countries.

This partnership opened TEB to operations in more than 60 countries worldwide, on top of its roughly 100 branches spread across Turkey's provinces.
