VEPA — Toothbrushes & Personal-Care Brushes

VEPA's story in Istanbul began in 1956, when it made only personal-care items such as hairbrushes and combs. It was reorganised as a brush-and-comb manufacturing company in 1983, and in 1984 became one of the first to make toothbrushes domestically in Turkey, sparing consumers the difficulty of importing them.

The firm opened its dedicated factory in 1997 in Istanbul's İkitelli industrial district. From there it supplies markets across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
